Football Star Aaron Ramsey Boosts Incentive for Lost Dog in Mexico to $$20k
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has raised the bounty for leads concerning his lost canine Halo to £15k.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato region.
The beagle, who vanished on 9 October, was had on a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey posted a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of news about our Halo kindly contact us. Big reward for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and will return with us shortly," the athlete shared on Instagram.
Earlier Reward and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer initially announced that his dog had gone missing two weeks ago and has subsequently uploaded numerous images of the adored dog on his social media account.
A £7.5k bounty was first offered, but with lack of updates on the dog's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his family increased the reward.
"We just want Halo back," he said in another request on his online platforms after the decade-old dog went missing.
The most recent image share is a monochrome image of Halo sleeping, its head lying in the crook of Ramsey's elbow, with the caption: "How I wish to cuddle you one last time Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
The footballer has additionally circulated a statement from his spouse Colleen on social media mentioning they have some "pressing queries" regarding the incident and fear the household "might not obtain clarity".
"We have yet to are still searching for Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's post read.
The Welsh leader joined Mexico's top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional recently and made his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.
